PRESS RELEASE PSA Sets Meeting Date for Interchange Infrastructive Workshop |
|
PSA Charirman David Hutchins made the following comments:
In today’s environment of modern technology and development there are new and possibly more effective ways to solve our older problems. The fact that Carroll County has four Interstate interchanges is a blessing however, it is our responsibility to enhance this gift with all the services possible. Currently we only have 25% of the Interchanges served with water and sewer to an acceptable level. It is our duty and obligation to plan for an implement programs to provide the despirately needed infrastructure at the remaining sites. Therefore, we will be holding a PSA workshop that will be dedicated to the exploration of alternative sewer treatments.
It is the desire of the PSA that any and all types of treatments be explored that may provide for infrastructure deployment in a timely and cost effective manner. This working session will be held on May 21 starting at 9:00 am in the Board Room of the Carroll County Governmental Center. Each firm that elects to come will be given up to 45 minutes to discuss and provide information to the PSA about their alternative system and its advantages in our modern world.
We wish to invite any and all to participate in this learning session of the multiple alternative sewer treatment avenues.
For more information or to schedule a time for a presentation, please contact the Carroll County PSA at 276-730-3170 or DPhillips@CarrollCountyVA.org.
